Is anyone else super thankful that we live in the year 2023 and can login to Amazon and order pretty much anything we can think of and have it shipped to our front door? I had no idea what Amazon was until 2016 when my first child was born.

When we found out that he was potentially facing an autism diagnosis we were aligned with therapists who taught us so much not only about autism itself, but about all the different resources available to us to help our son learn and grow and develop. And guess what- they all said, "Just hop on Amazon and order it." I started finding that there were so many resources like toys and special chairs and compression items and endless sensory resources.

If you are familiar with Amazon you know that there are some pretty amazing items. But if you are really familiar with Amazon, you know that there are items that are mis-represented, cheaply made and just plain disappointing to open.

 

That's why I compiled a list of the most helpful and highest quality items that I have owned over the years. My passion is helping to connect parents of spectrum households with resources to help them parent with confidence and support the development of their children. Below you will find categories to click on. Inside the links you will find items that I own and recommend. There is also a 'My Review' button that will take you to my personal review of those items. I will include pictures, pros and cons and all other information that I feel is important for you to know.
